This Privacy Policy covers our website, www.genesiscompounding.com. Protected health information (PHI) handled by our pharmacy is governed by our separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which controls in case of any conflict.

Spectrum Solutions Rx, LLC, doing business as Genesis Compounding Pharmacy ("Genesis," "we," "us," or "our"), is a PCAB-accredited 503A compounding pharmacy licensed in all 50 states. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information through our website and related digital services (the "Site"). Use of the Site is also subject to our Terms of Service.

2.1 Information you provide
- Prescriber onboarding information — practice name, NPI, DEA number (where applicable), state licenses, authorized signatures, billing contact, fax/email.
- Patient contact information — name, shipping address, phone, email, date of birth as needed to fulfill a prescription.
- Order / refill information — prescription details submitted by you or your prescriber via eRx, EMR, fax, or our website.
- Payment information — handled by our PCI-compliant payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Communications — messages you send through forms, email, live chat, or phone.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page.
- Cookies and similar technologies — used for essential site function, analytics, and (where applicable) marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
2.3 Information from third parties
We may receive information from your prescriber, telehealth platforms, eRx/EMR networks, and licensing/verification services in connection with dispensing your medication.
3. How We Use Information
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- Process prescriber onboarding and verify credentials.
- Fulfill prescriptions, communicate about orders, shipping, and refills.
- Respond to inquiries and provide pharmacist support.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, accreditation (PCAB), and quality requirements.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Send service-related communications and, where permitted, educational and marketing communications.
4. How We Share Information
- Service providers / Business Associates — pharmacy management system, eRx/EMR integrators, payment processors, shipping carriers, third-party potency and sterility testing labs, hosting, analytics, and security providers, each under appropriate confidentiality and (where applicable) Business Associate Agreements.
- Prescribers and their authorized staff — for treatment, refill, and care coordination.
- Legal and regulatory authorities — FDA, DEA, Utah DOPL, state boards of pharmacy, HHS, courts, and law enforcement when required by law.
- Corporate transactions — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable privacy protections.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use PHI for marketing without your written authorization.
5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand site usage and improve performance. These tools collect non-PHI usage data. You may opt out by adjusting your browser settings or using tools provided by the analytics vendors. Where required by law, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies.
6. Email, SMS, and Marketing Choices
You may unsubscribe from non-essential marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. Service-related communications about your prescriptions (order status, recalls, pharmacist counseling) are necessary to dispense your medication safely and cannot be opted out of without affecting your therapy.
7. Data Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information and PHI consistent with HIPAA and industry standards. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. Do not send sensitive PHI through standard email or public forms — use our secure channels or call 888-500-4711.
8. Data Retention
We retain prescription and pharmacy records for the period required by Utah and other applicable state pharmacy laws and federal regulations. Other information is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your state, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of certain personal information. Rights regarding PHI are described in our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. 10. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 except as needed to fulfill a prescription submitted by a parent, guardian, or prescriber.
11. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites (e.g., prescriber portals, payment processors, telehealth platforms). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
